Drought has done so much for her creator, Anhedonia, up until this point of the story. Now, Drought learns through one last terrible act just what it is to lose someone close to you. She now instantly knows the struggle of Rain and the people of Ballaärat. She no longer wishes to take any more lives or to bestow hardship and sadness upon anyone. But is it too late, for there is one more event of destruction coming. Will Drought stop the end of Ballaärat in time! Or, will she have to give her own life to save the lives of those remaining.
